This afternoon, I'm driving 90 miles to my daughter and son-in-law's place in West Columbia, SC. Tomorrow morning, my daughter, grandson, and I will head out to Iowa. It is about 1100 miles one way. So, I'll be gone for at least a week, maybe more. I do not know whether I will be able to access this site on the road. I do not have a laptop, but my daughter does. So, we will see.

Does your e-book do e-mail. The nook does and it seems to be able to pick up from quite a distant, I can even surf the web on it but kind of a pain in the butt.

I can access the internet with it, but there is an additional charge if I am not buying books. So, that will be left home. I'm going the paper book route for the trip. I don't want to forget my kindle anywhere!

It looks like you are in for an adventure. Not sure if I would make that trip this time of year. Hope you don't get snowbound. Be careful and looking forward to your story when you get back.

Just checked the TV weather and it looks like Jon is going to have ice for 700 miles. That should make some interesting driving.
