Nice. Do they still make that kind of boat? Haven't seen a wooden boat around here for years.

You can still see these boats on this side of the country. There are a couple of firms that still make them.

My first boat was a wooden "Lister Built" with a 5 hp inboard engine. It had a small cubby cabin which I used when it was raining. Later on I removed the inboard and mounted a Johnson 25 HP outboard on it. Always regretted doing that as I never was able to get the hole where the shaft went through the bottom plugged very well. I had lots of fun with that boat,
