The farm

Post by jon.oman »

You would not believe the place my daughter and son-in-law have made an offer on! It is two and one-half stories tall, with about 2800 square feet. It was built in 1901, and has the great, wide, wood trim. The house has two layers of brick. The brickwork is just fantastic! There are seven out-buildings. Once I get the memory card from my daughter, I'll show you what it looks like.

Are there any trees on the property. Back in the old days, they would plant a maple or oak for shade in the front yard. Now those trees are huge.

There is at least one large tree in the front yard. There may be a few more out back. But, you can see for miles, there is so much farm land around their place.

Sparkey, I'm not sure you would like to travel that far!
